This search engine is designed to look only through a curated set of LARP-related websites and databases. Its purpose is preparatory: to help collect, compare, and organize relevant material as the foundation for LarpXiv, a larger initiative currently in development.

What is LarpXiv?

LarpXiv is envisioned as an open-access archive and database dedicated to live-action role-playing (LARP). Inspired by academic preprint archives, it will become a platform where designers, organizers, and researchers can upload, preserve, and share LARP materials (scenarios, documentation, research, and theory). The aim is to ensure that the creativity and knowledge within the LARP community are accessible, searchable, and preserved for future generations.

People behind this

I am Matko Radić, an IT professional and LARP game designer with a long-standing interest in live-action role-playing and its documentation. Drawing on my experience in developing cultural and artistic initiatives, I founded LarpXiv as a way to preserve and share the creativity of the LARP community, while building connections between practitioners, researchers, and institutions.
